Principal Message – May 2023

MCS Family,

While the calendar may say it is not officially summer, the weather says something else! It is so good to see and feel the sun!

Thank you to all families who have participated in the Pre-Enrollment process this spring. This information gives us a good idea of how we will be organized for next year. This allows us to hire any new staff we will need and put desks back into classrooms that have sat vacant this year. An exciting time!

With the return of the grade 9 class, we are hearing all the stories of the experiences they had while in Belize. Uncounted numbers of buckets of cement were poured, walls were painted, crafts were made, skits were performed, worship was engaged in and relationships were deepened. Each student who went has come back with a new perspective and view on the world and how their faith can help them see how to live their part in God’s story. Thank you to all of you who supported this trip whether it was financially with donations and/or through prayer. We could not give this experience to our students without your support.

We continue to show our excellence in Learning, Living, Leading and Loving.

Sincerely,

Scott Markine, Principal
Meadowlark Christian School
