Principal’s Message October 2015

Dear Parents,

Welcome to October. The month when we take time to consider all the blessings that we have received. There are so many things to be thankful for here at MCS; caring staff, involved parents, great students. I hope that all of you to take time to consider the ways that your students are blessed to attend a public school in which they are encouraged to grow in Christian character.

Our junior high students attended the Fall Youth Retreat from September 21-23, 2015. While there, the students were challenged to be bold. The staff who attended supported the students in naming their fears, giving them to God and trusting Him for the courage to be bold. Again, a blessing for your students.

On Monday, Sept. 28 the first Parent Council meeting was held for the school year. Attendance was strong. Please check SchoolZone for the upcoming dates and join the group on those days that you are able. Parent Council is a great way for you be involved in what is going on at your child’s school.

Thanks to those of you who have welcomed me to MCS. It has been a full and exciting September.
