Principal’s Message Sept/Oct

Dear Parents,

Welcome to Meadowlark Christian School. The beginning of a new school year is always exciting and the start of this year has proven to be no different.

Our enrollment numbers are good, we have a few new staff members, our achievement results were excellent and our school has already been a beehive of activity.

We are thrilled that Mrs. Ethier is rejoining our teaching team this year as our Kindergarten teacher. Also joining the team is Mrs. Christenson, an educational assistant who will also be in the Kindergarten class and Mr. McMahon, an educational assistant who will primarily be working in the junior high classes. These three individuals bring a wealth of experience and enthusiasm for working with children and we are blessed to have them join our school community

Our school community is also blessed to have incredibly dedicated and supportive parents. A hallmark of this dedication is the large number of our parents that step-up to contribute at our school whenever the need arises. We encourage parents to be actively involved in their child’s education and in the life of the school. We know that parents play a key role in helping their children to develop the attitudes they need to experience success at school. One of the areas that we would appreciate some increased parent involvement is on our School Council. If you would like to serve on the School Council please call me or come out to the next meeting on Monday, October 15th at 7:00 p.m. Mrs. Stefanie Thera is our School Council Chair and she welcomes any of our parents to contact her for more information regarding School Council.

We have been blessed at Meadowlark Christian School with a wonderful Christian environment that enables our students to thrive academically and spiritually. We treasure your regular prayer as we seek God’s guidance and direction in our school.

Mr. D. Sweeney
